SGS third quarter 2025 sales update

IIOA member SGS reports its 2025 Q3 results with strong growth of 1.8%/6.0% organic growth to 1729m CHF. Currency changes had a -6.1% impact on the comparative results.

By geography, the organic revenue growth performance for Q3 was by SGS region was:

• Latin America 14.1%
• Asia Pacific 7.6%
• Europe 4.5%
• North America 3.9%
• Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa 3.8%

SGS has maintained its outlook at 5-7% organic sales growth for the full year 2025.

The results include performance of Business Assurance with 3.7% organic sales increase, ‘with strong momentum in Sustainability impacted by underperformance in Consulting.’

SGS go on to say that this performance was achieved, ‘in a post-recertification year, led by double-digit growth in medical devices, food and Digital Trust assurance. Double-digit growth in Sustainability services was driven by greenhouse gas emissions verification, sustainability assurance and social audits.’
