SGS posts 2023 full year results

IIOA member SGS has released its 2023 full year results, with a headline CHF 6622 million revenue (8% growth at constant currency) with 8.1% organic growth.

The Business Assurance division recorded a record performance, ‘driven by new sustainability services including business health checks and gap assessments as well as social audits and ESG assurance’ of 15.3% growth (constant currency), all organic.

For growth, SGS notes that, ‘The Group will capitalize on the strong 4% to 5% underlying annual momentum of the CHF 190 billion Testing, Inspection & Certification industry and invest in segments and regions where greater opportunities exist, such as sustainability and digital services as well as in North America’.
