The most immediate response IIOA members have had to the Covid-19 pandemic is in providing their customers with rapid access to audits using remote technology. This is proving highly successfully in robustly maintaining certifications and ensuring organisations meet the needs set out in the standards they are certified to. Beyond remote auditing, IIOA members are providing a range of ways of helping organisations operate under the difficult circumstances of the pandemic and coming out of some of the restrictions. Caution is clearly key, ensuring safety and wellbeing are paramount, adhering to guidance provided by all relevant authorities.

BSI’s Covid-19 update site has a wealth of tools to help organisations during the pandemic and building out of it. As well as remote audits, BSI also has access to key standards and their Supply Chain Risk Exposure Evaluation (SCREEN) intelligence tool access.
Bureau Veritas provides businesses with ‘Restart Your Business with BV’ assistance and remote auditing.
