IIOA members continued effort delivering remote audits
February 3, 2021
With the Covid-19 pandemic regrettably continuing its highly disruptive impact across many parts of the world, IIOA members continue to serve their customers through the use of remote tools.
The safety of all those involved in auditing, customers and audit teams alike, remains the paramount consideration. As important is conforming with local and national rules and travel restrictions. These two factors confirm the vital contribution of remote auditing continuing to maintain the validity of customers’ certificates.
Backed up by the accreditation community’s collaborative efforts, including their own use of remote techniques, for example with accreditation assessments, the efficacy and robustness of the auditing activities remains in place.
IIOA members will continue to work as hard as they can to ensure audits are delivered safely, robustly and effectively, ensuring customers, clients and all other stakeholders continue to be served. IIOA members will also provide on-site audits wherever and whenever they can, as different geographies allow this.
The information below provides more details about remote auditing from each of the IIOA members. All of the IIOA members would be pleased to assist with any questions about remote auditing, especially from their customers.
