DEKRA 2024 full year results

IIOA member DEKRA has released its 2024 full year results, with a headline increase in revenue of 4.7% to 4293.8m EUR.
DEKRA reports that the increase in the ‘core business —excluding temporary work’ was 7%. As an illustration temporary work declined by 10%, ‘due to the weak economic situation’ in DEKRA’s key region of Germany, Switzerland, Austria – GSA.
By geography, DEKRA grew revenues across all regions. DEKRA’s largest region GSA grew by 2.7%, contributing 60% of revenue. DEKRA notes, ‘The remaining regions performed strongly, too. In Central Eastern Europe & Middle East, DEKRA improved revenues by 5.2% to 200.3 million euros. In North-West Europe, the company achieved a revenue increase of 10.3% to 438.4 million euros. In South West Europe, DEKRA’s revenues reached 595 million euros (+7.9%). Lastly, the Americas and Asia Pacific regions delivered dynamic growth, with revenues of 163.4 million euros (+13.2%) and 275.2 million euros (+5.6%), respectively.’
By division the People, Processes & Organizations division, which ‘offers services in risk, compliance, and performance improvement with respect to safety and sustainability standards’ increased revenue by 8.6% to 615m EUR.
As regards the outlook, DEKRA states, ‘The guiding principle underlying DEKRA’s strategic direction is stable, healthy, and profitable
growth. DEKRA launched the Strategy 2030+ process in the reporting year, representing a continuation of the path mapped out in Vision 2025. Our intention is to be a partner to our customers in shaping a safe, secure, and sustainable world’.
